A Grid-Connected Solar PV/Wind Turbine Based Hybrid Energy System Using ANFIS Controller for Hybrid Series Active Power Filter to Improve the Power Quality

The current needs of more nonlinear loads and the frequent usage single-phase in three-phase system drastically create power quality issues grid-connected system. As a consequence, it creates an undesirable issue (PQI) form change nature voltage magnitude waveforms voltage-related PQI leads to huge disturbance when compared with current-related PQI. hybrid series active filter provides grids required suppresses harmonics caused by loads. present work deals adaptive neurofuzzy inference controller for generation reference signal that uses reduced rating. simulation study was done MATLAB 2020b/Simulink environment experimental effectiveness proposed ANFIS conventional controller. In system, this prevents problems such as sag, flickering, swell, neutral currents, reactive power. renewable energy sources interfaced into DC-link minimize short long challenges so they improve overall performance accordance IEEE standard 519-1992, prototype model proved demonstrate delivery works effectively under different conditions reduces total harmonic distortion approximately 30%, which is less than 5% acceptable limit.
